Empowering New Americans with Disabilities to Lead

The Empowering New Americans with Disabilities to Lead program is designed to support and provide leadership training, resources and outreach services to  immigrants with disabilities and immigrant/refugee parents of children with disabilities.  Workshops provide resources for coordinating county services, supported living services, supported employment services, self advocacy and leadership, and building communities of support.

2005-2006 Program:

November 11, 2005, Application due
November 19, 2005, "Developmental Disabilities in the Hmong Community" Workshop

Program participants will receive $10 for every workshop attended. Must attend 8 out of 10 workshops in order to receive stipend.
