Women of Wise

Project Achieve

Program Overview

Project Achieve is a college preparation and academic enrichment after school program at Higher Ground Academy, an Afro-centric St. Paul Charter School and partner of WISE.  Project Achieve works with a small group of juniors and seniors (both males and females) to develop important assets, provide information about college and career opportunities, and increase organizational skills, time management, and social skills.

Working on college applications

Basic Criteria

Volunteers would be working alongside 1-2 instructors to help facilitate activities, work one-on-one with students, and provide their own experience about education. We encourage male volunteers as well as females!

Time Commitment

Project Acheive meets Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:50 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. during the St. Paul Public Schools academic school year. Volunteers can choose to do one or both days during the week to volunteer, depending on their schedule.
