Mentorship Program

Mentorship Program

Program Overview

The focus behind the GGAL Mentorship Program is to connect women in professional or educational settings with the participants of the GGAL program and/or GGAl Alumnae program, where women share their life learning, educational, and career experiences with the girls to encourage, inspire, and empower them to achieve their educational/career goals and become productive, contributing, members of society.

GGAL Alumnae Mentorship Opportunities:

GGAL Alumnae program also needs mentors. This mentorship opportunity offers more flexibility and personalized scheduling options. The way the Alumnae program is works is that you, as the mentor, will be paired with one of the program participants - this pairing is designed to facilitate a "big-sister/little-sister" relationship. What that means to us at WISE is, you will work together to plan your scheduled times to meet (at least once per week), discuss what material should be covered during the meeting, and have FUN together! To be an Alumnae Mentor, we ask that you be a 3rd or 4th year college student or a working professional, because the young women you will be mentoring will likely be 1st and 2nd year college students.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the GGAL Mentorship program or have questions, please contact GGAL Program Coordintor, Robyn Gerrells - robyn@womenofwise.org
