About the Event

Growing Up: Our Beautiful Normal Bodies (Puberty & Reproductive Anatomy) and Creative Activities with WISE

This in person retreat, offered by Planned Parenthood in collaboration with WISE, is a special opportunity for daughters, ages 9-12, and their mothers or female mentors to learn and connect while exploring puberty, healthy sexuality, and family communication. Mothers/Mentors and daughters/mentees participate together in small groups as they learn more about each other and celebrate their relationship. Activities may include generational reflections, culturally responsive connectiveness, and creative arts and crafts.

Participant pairs will receive a $100 VISA gift card. Mentors ages 21+ can substitute for parents.

This is a free event. Limited spaces is availbale. Registration and a confirmation from the facilitator is required before attending.
