Our Causes

WISE acknowledges that gender is related to an array of issues and efforts across the globe. While our services are limited to education and capacity-building for immigrant and refugee women and girls in the U.S., we are active allies to global issues impacting women and girls.

Advocate for Global Girls Education

WISE believes that all girls should have access to quality education that not only includes standard academic knowledge but also life and leadership skills development that can prepare them to take control of their lives and make informed decisions.

End Child Marriage

Child marriage continues to be practiced both in the U.S. and the rest of the world. This practice can force youth to grow up faster than their peers, encourage adolescent pregnancy, and hinder girls from accessing education.
