About the Event
Save the date for WISE’ second annual fundraiser, Unmasking Our Potential. Unmasking Our Potential focuses on one of WISE’ seven core values: Self-Determination and Self-Actualization, where we believe that it is the right of each woman and girl to have the freedom to develop her own identity, take pride in both her cultural heritage and personal accomplishments, and choose the best path for herself.
This event will showcase the self-identity masks created by our very own Girls Getting Ahead in Leadership (GGAL) youth. These masks were created as a part of our self-identity workshops and represent the personal identities, personalities, and dreams of our immigrant and refugee youth.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to continue WISE’ mission of supporting immigrant and refugee women, girls, and those on the feminine gender spectrum in their journeys of self-actualization. WISE does this by curating holistic activities and services that build the knowledge, skills,…
