WISE introduces a new mission and vision in their 4-year strategic plan

After months of development with WISE staff and board members, we are proud to share our 2022-2027 Strategic Plan! This plan is a continuation of the 2019-2021 Strategic Plan and builds upon its strategic development goals and 14 strategic foci. The 2022-27 Plan introduces a revised mission and vision that represents a recognition of the changing needs and demographics of our target community; and represents our desire to address the gaps, needs, and progress in our services since our founding in 1995.

Our mission is to support immigrant and refugee women, girls and those on the feminine gender spectrum in their journey of self-actualization through culturally-responsive education, advocacy, systems change and resource development.
We envision a world where immigrant and refugee women, girls and those on the feminine gender spectrum are celebrated for their leadership, honored for their wisdom, and recognized for their contributions to an equitable, just and violence-free world.

With the finalization of this plan, we at WISE hope to guide the organization towards growth that is sustainable, adaptable, and culturally-responsive to immigrant and refugee women, girls, and those on the feminine gender identity spectrum.
