Our youth are highly impacted by the levels of uncertainty, violence, and discrimination of recent and past events. It is important to have conversations to dissect the systemic and historical causes of these events and help youth understand their part in influencing change. While these conversations are by no means easy to navigate, they must nevertheless be acknowledged.
