June Nin Way starts her dream job as a mental health practitioner

June Nin Way

WeLEAD participant, June Nin Way, graduated in the Fall of 2019 with a BA in Psychology at Metropolitan State University. Her biggest dream is to work at a well-known nonprofit organization where she will be able to help the community. This dream came true when June recently accepted a job at the Wilder Foundation as a Mental Health Practitioner!


In addition to her new position, June purchased a home and became a Girls Scout Mentor for Karen girls; she is currently attending financial literacy workshops and taking classes to obtain a license as a life insurance agent.


“I feel like all mentors, coordinators, and staff who work at WISE are very compassionate and caring human beings which is why it feels good to be a part of WISE.”
